Ric and his team are awesome. My go to air conditioning repair company. His reputation is impressive. Was recommended by our neighbors on Nextdoor years ago and we've used him many times over the years. One year helped me troubleshoot the issue on a really hot day and helped me fix it on my own over the phone. This past weekend helped fixed my wife's office Mini-split the next day. He always answers his phone and is responsive. A professional HVAC company I'd highly recommend! A++++
I called Ric 2 days ago to fix my furnace. He was up in Palos Verdes working on something. He said: I will be over to look at it tonight when I am done here. Sure enough there he was at my front door at around 6pm. He couldn't fix it right away because the main board was the issue. He ordered the board and sent his guys to finish the job and they did. Ric then sent me this text: "You got more than a deal, with the motherboard and the labor" My response: "I got to know your sense of fairness and dedication. Now it's up to me to tell everyone about your quality of work. Be ready for more business my friend! 😀" All I can say about Ric and his team is JOB WELL DONE! I highly recommend them to work on your HVAC unit.
Ric and his team are absolutely the best. This was my 2nd system installation with him and each one has been somewhat complicated due to the architectural design of the property. This one was over at Marina Pacifica and the air handler is inside the ceiling with limited space. He came out to figure out all of the current replacement parts that would be needed since the current system was decades old, and then he gave a proposal of exactly what had to be done construction wise and for the new system. He and his crew finished within 2 days. They showed up on time and cleaned up as if they had never been there. His price has always been fair and the work is exceptional. I highly recommend them!
Called Ric Chavarrie on Tuesday when I had no heat and I was freezing. He was out the next day and fixed the problem quickly. He is the best. Will be replacing my HVAC in the next few weeks and will have Ric and his team do the job.

I have nothing but good things to say about Ric and Marcos and their crew! We recently bought a 100-year-old house with 100 years of issues, and they leapt right in and got us efficient heat/ac, a tankless water heater, upgraded electrical panel, and a pile of messes sorted in just a few days. Not only that, but they took great care with our cats, our time, and our property. Highly recommend!

Ric solved my heating issue within 30 minutes. He was able to diagnose, resolve, and provide me with some useful tips to help it from happening in the future.
Called Ric to inquire about replacing our 25 year old rustbox of an A/C unit with a shiny new Bosch IDP Heat Pump. Two days later, and it's already installed and I'm enjoying quiet warmth. Ric was super communicative and competitively priced. He showed up exactly on time first thing in the morning with his army of installers and a crane truck ready to pluck my old unit off the roof. In just over three hours, the new unit was in place and hooked up and running. Nobody likes to deal with a failed a/c unit, but when you ultimately have to, give Ric and his team a call!

I called in, they were completely honest about how they price things. Made it to my house in 3 hours. I have a mini split system and didn't know the internal workings. Nothing was wrong but me not knowing how the mini split worked. The Tech explained it and verified everything was in good working order. They know their stuff and will be honest with you!

We bought our house about 2 months ago, and even though they were outdated, both the heater and a/c were working. It didn't take long for the heater to die, but fortunately it took less time to have Ric making arrangements to replace everything. He and his crew were friendly and professional, and in just a couple days, we had a complete new HVAC system installed, at a great price. I recommend just call these guys first, don't waste time with anyone else.
Despite his schedule being full, Ric came after hours, replaced a faulty capacitor and only charged us for a service call. He also made sure we understood how to reset the AC and waited until it started up again before leaving. Very honest and a straight talker. We will definitely use Chavarrie HVAC again.

Ric came out the day I first called him to look things over and give his opinion. We are sure happy we listened to him and got the 20 SEER Bosch heat pump. Ric and his crew knocked it out and we were soon luxuriating in conditioned air. And, electric bills are much less than I thought! We had an issue a year after installation and Rick took care of it right away. He even gave me phone numbers for a roofer and a solar guy that were just like him; on time, professional, competitive and just good people. I hired them both and am very happy I did. Ric is who you want taking care of your heating and cooling-you won’t be sorry.

I'm extremely pleased with my recent multi-zone mini split installation. Angel came out same day to make sure the job could be done with my home, and handled the electrical work with great expertise. Justin and Scott took care of the installation, and they were outstanding. The entire team was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly took pride in their work. Everything was installed correctly the first time, the work area was kept clean, and they were respectful of my home throughout the process. I'm so happy we found Ric and his team at Chavarrie Heating! We called several companies after returning home from vacation and discovering our furnace was no longer working. Trying to get help to fix your heating in December, right before the holidays, is incredibly difficult. However, Ric fit us into his already packed schedule, understanding how urgent it was for us to have heat again. He was very responsive and even tried troubleshooting with us over text before his technician could arrive. Scott, the technician, arrived promptly and carefully diagnosed the issue. He determined we needed a new part, which they ordered the next morning. Once the part arrived, they made every effort to come back as quickly as possible to restore our heat. The team did excellent work, was very clean while working in our home, polite, and genuinely seemed to care about their customers. Their pricing was also fair and competitive. I plan to use them again when upgrading my system in the future!

Without hesitation, I recommend Ric and his team to all of my family and friends! My wife & I researched and met with several HVAC companies before Choosing Chavarrie Heating & Air Conditioning. Several, of the other companies had “salespeople” come out and tell us what we needed without listening to what our needs would be. Ric met with us at our convenience, inspected what we had and listened to what we were looking for. Immediately his knowledge and commitment to his company was evident. He didn’t just want to get the sale, he wants to provide the customer with best system for their needs and budget. He explained everything and immediately provided an estimate. No money was asked for until after work was started. Ric and his team showed up on time and when promised. They thoroughly prepared our home for work. Protective tarps, etc. were placed and at day’s end, everything was cleaned. All of the crew were courteous and friendly. I never felt uncomfortable nor had any concerns with them being in our home. The final work project was completed ahead of schedule and as you can see in the pictures, that a superior job was done! Scheduled this appointment because heater started blowing cool air instead of warm. Our technician was Angel and he did a great job getting our heater working properly again. Ric is a true professional and a technical expert when it comes to Heating and Cooling. This is my second time utilizing his team and services and have been impressed each time. Initially completing a re-ducting of my house due to several leaks and age, and most recently, a replacement of our gas furnace and 1980's Central Air Conditioning Unit. He provided a same day (hour) estimate on a Saturday, an in person inspection on Tuesday (my schedule, not his), and his team was here on Wednesday to complete the entire installation. Wow. Amazing to watch the team work concurrently in the attic, on electrical and the main unit at all the same time. Top notch work. Our house is night and day from when the old unit was operating. Rooms are balanced temperate, great air flow and an extremely quiet backyard in the heat of day as the unit runs. He also helped to navigate the appropriate rebates & tax credits we would be eligible for as a result of the installation. Would not recommend anyone else to repair/replace an HVAC system in the areas he services.
Justin & Chavarrie Heating & Air Conditioning were lifesavers helping us to quickly fix our AC units that weren't working. Local & quick response helped us resolve our issue & have our units working like brand new. If I need any AC/Heating issues fixed in the future they will be my first call.
